Hey there! Welcome to my blog, Talia Tries.
You might be wondering… Why is this girl starting a blog? I asked myself the same question several times before getting things up and running, but HERE WE ARE!
I created this blog because I am (as my dad would say) a jack of all trades but a master of none! I know. My dad has some great jokes. Looking back on my life thus far, I have never been content with doing one job/craft/hobby and sticking with it. That is not to say that I haven’t enjoyed the different things I’ve tried but more so that I want to try everything!!!
I am 30 years old and I am married with three doggos! My husband, Ryan, is my absolute BEST friend and I probably wouldn’t have gotten through half of my projects and trials without him. You will probably get a touch of his personality in these blogs too!
Getting cozy in blankets while drinking tea and reading a good book is where it is at. If I could make a career out of that… WHEW! I also enjoy hanging out and catching up with my friends especially since I have such an amazing, tight knit group of friends. I don’t know what I’d do without them!
Artistic activities have always been my passion. It can range from drawing, painting, and sculpting to photography and dancing… you name it, I’ve probably done it! I have A LOT of dietary restrictions. I am lactose and fructose intolerant along with having SEVERE IBS, so will be seeing me try recipes or sharing some of my personal favorites that I’ve come up with on my own!
I absolutely LOVE helping friends and family! Seeing the smiles on others faces when I know I’ve done something for it to be there, is my favorite… one might say this makes me a people pleaser, but I’ve come to know it as a harmonious helper! Be proactive, not reactive friends.
I’m here to tell you about my trials and tribulations. Some will be good and some will DEFINITELY be bad but I’ll try them, so you don’t have to!
